I am now offering cosmetic acupuncture treatments at the beautiful Honey Rooms, located on Catherine Hill in Frome. A relaxing and holistic treatment that aims to promote a youthful appearance using a facial needling protocol, as well as traditional acupuncture body points. The treatment is finished with a cooling Gua Sha facial massage using jade and quartz stone alongside hyaluronic acid serum.

ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine needles into specific points on the body to encourage the flow and balance of "qi", the life force energy present within each of us. In simple terms we are allowing the body to use it's own healing capabilities to their greatest effect.
Acupuncture can be effective for:
Pain management: chronic pain, back pain, neuralgia, migraine, and joint stiffness.
Arthritis and mobility- inflammatory conditions

CUPPING THERAPY
Cupping involves the placement of glass cups onto the body, using heat to create a vacuum. The process is comfortable and relaxing, much like a massage. Cupping boosts blood flow to muscles, which makes it great for releasing tension, easing stiffness and relieving back pain. Cupping can also boost the immune system, relieve congestion in the lungs and is great for keeping coughs and colds at bay in the Winter months.
This treatment can be part of your acupuncture session or booked separately.
REIKI
Reiki is a non-invasive healing technique, either hands-off or light touch, which gently directs energy to where a patient needs it most - the aim is for the patient to relax deeply and connect with their own innate healing abilities. It sounds very simple, and it is! Your body knows what it needs and Reiki is a tool to help you access it.
Reiki can often be a very good place to start a healing journey. It can be beneficial for almost any condition but is particularly good for anxiety and stress.
COSMETIC ACUPUNCTURE
Cosmetic acupuncture is a protocol where a number of needles are inserted over the face and jaw to encourage blood-flow and promote collagen production. The results can include brighter, smoother skin as well as a lifting effect on the face. In addition to facial needling, I also use some traditional acupuncture points on the body as well as facial massage and gua sha (smooth jade or quartz stone tool) to finish.

About The Little Clinic

At The Little Clinic, you have a practitioner who will be looking at the whole picture of your health. To design your course of treatment we will have an in-depth consultation at your first session covering your medical history as well as your current symptoms, needs and life circumstances.
The aim is to treat your whole body system, not just your symptoms.
Since 2017 I have been working with clients who have a broad range of conditions and needs. My particular areas of interest are fertility and menopause, pain management and supporting cancer patients with symptoms throughout their treatment. I live and work in Frome, Somerset and also have treatment space in Bath.
